Audi e-Tron became the first hybrid to win Le Mans, saves the planet at the same time

Hybrid diesel Audi R - 18 e-Tron has become the first car of its kind to win the 24 hours of le Mans Endurance race. Audi and Toyota have both the Green riders, but latter LMP1 crashes, who left the German manufacturer to a 1-2 a finish (while a pair of runners non-hybride placed third and fifth, respectively). Unlike hybrids based on the drums, R-18 uses a power push V6 turbo-diesel heavy rear-wheel, as well as of a flywheel to recover braking energy and drive a motor attached to the front wheels.
