Organizing a gay wedding and inviting family can be very tricky. Despite becoming a common occurrence, there are still many people who feel uncomfortable with the occasion and may object. You do not have to let these people ruin your important day though. Using grace and tact, you can have the wedding of your dreams and still let the family come.


In the excitement of the event, it can be easy to send off invitations to everyone you know. Unfortunately not everyone in the world is comfortable with the reality of same-sex marriages. Before you begin sending invitations out, take the time to think about whether or not each person will be accepting and happy. While some might not attend, a worst case scenario may be that they show up planning to cause problems.
